This is the most bizarre scene (from Iceland) I have come across in my life and this question still worries me that why are they killing them? Is it because of any disease? Commercial interests? We know that their meat is in high demand in some European countries and even Japan. Or is it the mere lust for killing as a sport? Whatever it is… these pictures are disturbing as they are not being done in secrecy but in broad daylight! The below picture tells me that it is some kind of a festival or why are so many people gathered?
